I'm 29, with sciatica (piriformis syndrome) due to leg-lenght-discrepancy and long periods of work infront of a computer. I'm 174 lbs and 5'10 tall. I've been looking for a comfortable chair for years now, and have not found it yet.As for this one, I've already tried another kneeling chair that works better than this one.The differences are:Other kneeling chairs make you put more weight on the shins, taking away the weight from your back. This chair takes away the weight from your shins, and puts it on your butt. Therefore, the chair is comfortable at first, but people with sciatica or back problems might not feel it as comfortable after some minutes.I'm putting at the moment a pillow on top of the shin rests. This helps me put pressure on them, and get a firmer-upward-push. Even with this, I feel the chair is not tilted enough for me to feel less weight in my lower back and butt.This chair would be great if it had an opening in the back, allowing the sacrum to get less pressure on the butt.Another chair, another test. I give it 3 stars. The other guys seem a bit too excited about it in my opinion. Or it might be just me.

I've had one of these chairs for nearly twenty years. I can't recommend them highly enough. I got one when I started to get some lower back pain in my late 20s. I have been very nearly pain free ever since. Only long periods working while sitting in other chairs gives me any problems.An elegant design that actually works, unlike many other 'kneeling' chairs which force you to put too much weight onto your knees and shins.(Also consider the leather upholstery option. It's expensive but lasts five to ten times longer than the fabric upholstery.)

I have a herniated disc in my back which caused me to make some serious life changes. Sitting down in a normal chair (especially those with a cushion) cause pretty severe pain. Even now, almost six months after my incident, I still can't sit in a regular chair for longer than 5-10 minutes. That's why I decided to give this chair a try for my home computer. First reaction: love it! Feels extremely natural and pain free. I hope this chair allows me to heal my disc faster!I would also recommend this chair to people with no back problems as it feels really natural and relaxing!
