I got this for my husband as he works from home, it has everything he wanted, he wanted a chair that moved up and down, the arm rest also move to were he wants them, and the seat is able to move "forward and backward" so if wants to "rock" he can or he can lock it into space to keep his good posture ;) the seat also has a good lumbar support built into it,It was easy to put together. my husband is a bigger man almost 6 feet and over 200lbs. and he thinks it is great, i am 5'6 and love it too :)

It is a nice and comfortable chair that I would recommend for anybody. I use mine for home office use and spend about 4-6 hours each day in it. Very easy to clean and take care of. Other than my cat trying to use it as a scratching post, it holds up very well and easy to assemble.Update on January 20, 2014After having the chair for almost a year, I have exhausted the cushion and having other issues with the item. The chair seems not able to hold up the position that I need for my work station. Maybe once or twice a week I have to adjust to the correct position and sometimes seems to slowly move downwards. Since I work from home, I have increased my daily sitting to about 6-10 hours while at work. The chair is now slanted and not parallel to the ground for my height, it appears the base is now crooked. I do not know how this occurred, I can only assume it was from extensive use. While I do love the chair and it has been broken in, I wish it would have been able to hold up for the use that I need for work. It is still easy to clean and wipe down.With those factors, I am reducing my pervious feedback of 5 stars to 4 stars.

Great chair! With all the choices out there it's difficult to narrow down which chair to buy. This chair is firm but not too firm, made of quality parts - especially the important components such as the levers and primary control mechanism. It can lock into place or tilt back or lock into place and the back can pivot as well. Great for computer work and also as a driving chair if you're into computer driving simulators. The leather seems to be a quality thickness and I love the color - a deep espresso brown, almost black. For the price, I would recommend this chair to anyone! Easy and intuitive to assemble. The base is plastic but seems very sturdy - I have no complaints and the more I sit in it the more I like it. My previous chair was a very plush $350. model, and although it was definitely a chair worth $350, I have not missed it. As a previous reviewer stated, it works well for a bigger guy but I am only 5'7 and about 170lbs - works great for me - happy shopping!
