I bought this for my 81 year young mother, who has trouble with arithitis and easily moving around at a chair level. She loves it and started using it right away. She was cleaning and re-organizing kitchen cupboards immediately. She has found that she can easily move from her office paperwork area back to kitchen and then laundry room throughout the day. She is also as at a good to height to pet her animals and give her their comfort throughout. I was going to buy a transport chair so she could do all of these things but its a lot more expensive and can scrape walls in smaller homes or just harder to manuever around the house. Thinking of buying for myself to save my knees and back from getting up and down. The reason I chose this chair was because of the handle, some of the other medical chairs said you had to be careful when you would go to sit because they could roll out from under you. And of course that would cause a bad fall, with broken bones and other injuries, which we are trying to prevent from happening . A must buy for anyone over 40 or arithitis or backpain.

I bought this stool to replace one supplied by an employer. I am a hygienist and this stool allows me to get close to my patient and rolls well over the carpet in the schools. I will use it at my desk at home when not on a work site. Good price.

While the seat appears to be well made and functional for the purpose it was purchased, I think the products specifications could be a bit clearer. The information on this seat indicates the height adjustment is 24 1/2 to 28 1/2 inches. This measurement is from the top of the raised bar backrest. The actual seat height adjustment is approximately 20 to 24 inches.
