great firm seat, dark brown color almost black. looks good, took about 8 minutes to put together. back moves forwards backwards. seat moves up and down. can be locked into place or rocked. arms adjustable too.

Its a cheap chair. But, for the price its a good value.The box arrived intact but the contents were poorly packed. A piece of the structure had rested against the lower upholstered part putting a dent in the foam that wont come out.The top has a zippered cover. The zipper pulls are sewn to the chair. The zipper itself has split open on one small part; the two rows of teeth separated from each other. If it splits open more I may try cutting the threads holding the zipper pull tab and rezipping it.The color is a very, very dark brown. At first I thought they sent a black one until I saw it under sunlight.Its easy to assemble, comfortable to sit in, and has has these features: tilt the bottom, raise and lower the chair, raise and lower the backrest, and tilt the backrest forward and back. You can lock the back tilt, or if you pull the lever for the backrest tilt all the way up it stays in that position and the back moves freely, using spring tension to hold itself to your back and allowing you to lean back into it, pushing it all the way down when you lean back. There is some knob on the bottom also to adjust a tension but I didn't investigate what it does. I guess it adjusts how strong the back tilt spring is but I don't know.The arm rests have a height adjustment and can be left off the chair if you prefer not to use them, or can easily be removed later.The metal parts of the chair are thick and the welds are decent. The black paint is smooth. The caster part of the chair is plastic. The plastic wheels are silent and roll easily.For the price I'm happy with it. 1 star off for shoddy packaging.

This chair is amazing. The functions are (it seems, lol) infinate! The leather is gorgeous, with absolutely no scuffs or flaws. Furthermore, it is possibly the most comfortable office chair I've ever sat in. I spend a lot of time at my desk for school, and even after 10 consecutive hours of sitting, the comfortability remains just as quality as when you first sit in it!It didn't arrive assembled, which I didn't expect. I'm sure it ships better that way. Thankfully, though, DIY assembly was very simple, and took little to no time! :-)I did notice that the zipper for the leather cover was broken, which truly upsets me. I was hoping, considering the price of the chair, for a flawless product. A friend recommended that I return it, as it is considered defective in this condition. However, I don't want to have to go without a desk chair any longer. I literally NEED a desk chair, and do not want to deal with the hassles that probably accompany a return like this.So, I will keep the defective (yet super comfy) chair because of these reasons. However, I feel like I definitely did not recieve the value this chair should have, especially considering it isn't a low-priced chair!This one defect is my only complaint, though for the amount of money I invested, there should be absolutely no defects! Especially considering I am a very poor college student. :-/
