I sit on this chair as I write. I bought it for use on my hardwood floor to avoid the scratching that would come with a wheel-based chair.It is a very good price for the quality you get. I feel it is comfortable as well. It is made of polyurethane.One note on assembly. If you are not experience with it, I recommend getting help from somebody who has experience. It took me a few days of head scratching to get it together!

Comfortable, easy to assemble, and so far feels sturdy. SInce I can't use a rolling chair on my particular floor, this is a perfect alternative.

The chair definitely needs 2 people to assemble, but after receiving the 2nd chair we were able to get it together in 3 minutes from previous practice. So I give the chair 4 stars because of assembly.Very Nice Chairs!
