I searched high and low for a leather desk chair that was small and didn't have arms. I have pets and all the cloth chairs attract pet hair like a magnet and it gets stuck in the fabric and is virtually impossible to get out. This chair is exactly perfect for my needs. I find it very comfortable. I am assuming it was easy to put together as my husband put it together and I never heard any grumbles or cursing coming from the other room. LOL. I will say that it does have a chemical smell to it that needs time to air out and fade away.

6-28-13 I have had this chair for almost a year now and use it every day, sitting in it for 6 to 12 hours a day (I am retired and do everything over the computer including games). It looks like it is still new. It is so comfortable to sit in and the height maintains it position so you don't have to continually adjust it, the rollers still work smooth, and there are no cracks or wear marks in the upholstery. I can't say enough good about this chair. I worked in an offices for 40 years and would have never believed a typing chair could be this comfortable and retain its new look. You won't go wrong purchasing this chair.Dec. 5, 2012 UpdateI use my chair every day and usually for hours. I have had no problems with it. It is still comfortable, rollers roll smoothly, holds its height (doesn't slip down). Upholstery maintaining its appearance with no cracks or wear spots. I couldn't be more satisfied. If I can doit by myself in less than an hour, anyone can do it.Three Hints: 1) you will need a decent sized Phillips screwdriver. The one Iused is 8" long and fit the screws perfectly. 2) you may not need the top pieceof the cone (the smallest piece). In my case the seat would not fit so I tookthe top small cone off and the seat fit perfectly. 3) The lever to raise andlower the seat has to be on the RIGHT hand side as you are sitting on the chair.Instructions: Either go to the Boss Chairs website or use this link to godirectly to instructions: [...] . Thewebsite has an visual that literally shows you how to assemble as well aswritten instructions, and a very good diagram of how to assemble the chair.One is animated and literally shows the chair being assembled.The upholstery on the chair (LeatherPlus) is very rich looking and nice to thetouch, and the seat and back are padded. This chair could easily be at a desk inyour living room or office and look very nice.I highly recommend this chair and would definitely buy it again.

I got this same chair 5 years ago through a local office supplies store and love the chair--I no longer ever sit on the sofa or armchair, just my rolling leather chair. It is leather and I probably should be doing some sort of regular leather treatment on it but haven't so the leather on the seat sides is cracking which is shy I looked for a replacement in kumisjojon. I've had no proplems adjusting the chair. It's far more comfortable then similar fabric chairs we use at work. I even put it together myself with no help (so you know assembly had to be easy)--didn't even cut myself or bruise anything!
